By Plane: The main airport is Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO) — about 35 minutes from the city center. Direct flights are available from many European cities. From the Airport to the City: You can take a taxi, private transfer, or the Prestia e Comandè shuttle bus (runs every 30 minutes). Where to Stay There are plenty of lovely options in and around Palermo! Here are a few recommended areas:City Centre (Centro Storico): Charming, walkable, and close to restaurants and sights.Mondello Beach: A bit farther out, perfect for guests who want a beachy vibe.Politeama/Libertà: Elegant and quiet neighborhoods with easy access to transportation.We recommend booking your stay early, as September is a popular travel month. Getting Around Palermo is best explored on foot, but you can also use:Taxis (download the ItTaxi or FreeNow app)AMAT busesCar rentals (only if you plan to explore outside the city) Wedding Day Transport We're planning to provide transportation to and from the venues for guests who need it.
